These terms are an agreement between you and My Dope Tee ("we", "us"), based in Toronto, Ontario. They apply when you use our website, shop in an online store we run for a group, team, school, company or fundraiser, or place an order with us. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, our Shipping Policy and our Returns & Refunds policy.

Orders and prices

  • Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). You can also pay in US dollars. Taxes and shipping are shown at checkout.
  • Your order is placed when you complete checkout and payment, or when we confirm a quote you've approved.
  • We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if a price or product was listed by mistake, or if the design breaks these terms. If we cancel an order you've paid for, we'll refund what you paid for it.
  • Everything is made to order. Timing depends on the product and how it's decorated. Need it by a certain date? Rush service is available; tell us before you order.

Your design and approval

  • You're responsible for checking your design before you order: spelling, names, numbers, colours, sizes, placement and image quality. We print it as you approved it.
  • Colours, sizes and placement can look slightly different on screen than on the finished product.
  • All sales are final. If there's an obvious mistake on our side, we'll fix it or replace it. See our Returns & Refunds policy.

What you can upload

When you upload or add artwork, logos, photos, text, names or other content, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and that it doesn't break any law or anyone else's rights, including trademarks, copyrights and privacy. You may not use our website to create anything that:

  • infringes someone else's rights, including intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights;
  • is defamatory, harassing, threatening or hateful toward any person or group;
  • contains sexually explicit content, or exploits images or the likeness of minors;
  • promotes violence, illegal activity, or drug, alcohol or tobacco use by minors.

We may refuse to print any design for any reason. If someone makes a claim against us because of content you gave us, you agree to cover our costs and losses from that claim, including reasonable legal fees.

Permission to use your designs

You keep ownership of your designs. You give us permission to use, copy, edit and print them to make, ship and support your order. We may also photograph or show finished products in our marketing, on our website and on social media. If you'd rather we didn't share yours, send us a message through our contact form.

Group, team and fundraiser stores

If you buy from a store we run for a group, team, school, company or fundraiser, the store's details, like order deadlines, pickup and how any funds raised are used, are set with that store's organizer and shown in the store.

Your account

If you create an account, keep your login details private. You're responsible for activity on your account. We may close or limit an account that misuses our website or breaks these terms.

Using our website

Don't misuse our website. That includes trying to hack, disrupt or overload it, using bots or scrapers to copy it or collect information from it, sending spam, or pretending to be someone else. Our website, brand, designs, photos and content belong to us or the people who license them to us, and you may not copy or reuse them without our permission.

Limits on our responsibility

We work hard to keep our website accurate and running, but it's provided "as is" and we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect or consequential losses, like lost profits, missed events or delays, and our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

Children

You must be able to make a legal contract to order from us. If you're between 13 and 18, you may order only with a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms. Children under 13 may not place orders.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using our website after a change, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
